As I contemplate the wonderful things that have taken place over the last year, in the back of my mind I wonder how long will it last before something happens. I know I’m not the only one who thinks this way.
It seems we always look for the other shoe to drop when things are going seemingly too well. Most often whatever circumstance that arises hits us with a blow so forceful it erases all the ground gained. Well, that is one way to look at it and oftentimes I did. You did and have also, right?
This time, let me say that again with my chest. THIS TIME, I will not allow a circumstance to derail the progress that I have made, not my mindset. I have made a conscience choice to “roll” with the punches. I won’t crumble or curl up in a corner as times past. You too can make a decision to “lean with it, rock with it”
I’m sure you are saying your situation seems helpless. Probably, if you are looking with a tainted lenses. Wipe those glasses and put the shades down. Now look a little closer and what do you see?
1. Do you like I see an opportunity to grow?
2. An opportunity to fulfill a dream?
3. A chance to help others?
4. A chance to create legacy?
There are possibilitie, we just have to change our perspectives. Yes, I said we. I am not exempt. When I speak to you I speak to myself as well.
There will be some challenges on the other side of this circumstance but we can make it. All we have to do is keep our eyes on the prize and seek wise counsel. Get a coach, a mentor or counselor. You may need all three...I have them. Every Coach needs a coach, every mentor needs a mentor etc.
